If You Don't Believe Me Just Watch! I'm Not Alone! Dr. Lucille O’Neal 7th Annual Odessa Chambliss Quality Of Life Fund, Inc.
Faith And Fellowship Luncheon
BY JIMMIE WILLIAMS
ORLANDO - This year's gala was outstanding. The spirit of the Lord was in the building. If you were there and you're now reading this newspaper, I would say that you agree with me. Say amen! I'm telling you from my personal experience of attending this event for the past three years that they're getting better each time. The servers did an amazing job taking care of Dr. Lucille O'Neal’s guests. Dr. Lucille O'Neal is always such a gracious host. The entertainment this year had a twist to it. It started with Mr. Micah Stampley. He has a multi-octave vocal range spanning from bass-to-first soprano and is well known for that. His voice has literally staggering power and sensitivity. Mr. Micah Stampley put on an awesome show putting in work for the Lord. If you agree, say Amen! Oh yes we got our praise on for the Lord. Look here now! We got turned up in there, you hear me? You know how they say “It’s show time?" Ms. Dottie People's brought down the building. When I said she brought down the building, I mean they're still trying to rebuild it. See she brought the spirit of the Lord with her into the building. You hear me? She walked on stage and said, “We're going to bring the soul train line in here today. We're going to celebrate the Lord and we're going to lift Him up today." Before I knew anything, half of the people were down in front of the stage in a line praising the Lord. Amen! On this day it was an outstanding service in the house of the Lord. Mrs. Jo Jo O'Neal is a very good friend to my wife and me for a long time now. Mrs. Jo Jo O'Neal is a radio personality, does TV, video and commercials. She can be heard on Star 94.5 weekdays here in Orlando. She hosted the 7th Annual Odessa Chambliss Quality of Life Fund, Inc. Faith and Fellowship Luncheon. As always she did an awesome job. We thank you for all you do for all communities. In the past I've had the pleasure of sitting with my partner of education, The Orlando Times newspaper. This year my wife and I were asked to sit with Commissioner Samuel B. Ings of District 6, City of Orlando Florida. I said to my wife, “Hey we're moving on up." Lol! She looked at me without a smile and said, “That's what hard work gets you." Well I just smiled and said okay. Some other guests that attended was, Ms. Ovachi Bennett, Mrs. Casman Jamya Flowers-Mosby and Mrs. Cora Miles. As you can probably tell by the photos we had a celebration, celebrating the Lord. Dr. Lucile O'Neal and Ms. Dottie Peoples song a song together. It was Dr. O'Neal's favorite song. I'm telling you they had everyone standing on their feet. I personally can't wait until next year, Lol! Amen! You just have to be there to feel the spirit of the Lord. Hope to see you next year and may God continue to bless you and yours.
