Gospel Goes Classical Gala Concert Has A Dual Mission: Bringing-The-House-Down And Supporting-A-Cause

ORLANDO/WINTER PARK – Steve Lane, Digital 1 Media Services CEO, has taken a gigantic step forward with bringing the Gospel Goes Classical (GGC) brand back to the United States after a highly acclaimed 5-year tenure in South Africa. Lane, an avid Opera fan, also believes that Gospel music should never be pigeonholed. He further emphasized that God tugged at his heart and inspired him to undertake this brilliant production that will tour the nation. So let’s take it from the top. On Saturday, June 9, 2018, there will be a bringing-the-house-down, mind-blowing experience of Gospel and Opera, layered with classical jazz and R&B. For 90-minutes, the audience will be immersed into an unforgettable, full-scale, Broadway-caliber concert as Gospel Goes Classical. The multi-Grammy-awarded BeBe Winans and charismatic Mezzo-Soprano songstress Denyce Graves simply guarantee a night that will more than delight. You may be in for a surprise and be among the first to hear Winans’ latest release He Promised Me. These stellar performers will be accompanied by the renowned Bella Musica Orchestra of Florida under the artistic direction of Dr. Glenn Caldwell. One of Orlando’s favorites, the Antioch Baptist Church Mass Choir, along with breakout artist Monique Steele and band, are ready to set the place on fire as they render show-stopping songs. The hostess for the event is none other than the awesome woman of God, Pastor Riva Tims of Majestic Life Church who is also radio host of Glory of Gospel at Star 94.5fm. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Central Florida Urban League (CFUL) Cease Fire Initiative.
