  1. United Way’s Mission United to Host Veteran-Specific Education Fair “Mission Success” Veteran Education Fair to Convene 21 Colleges, Universities & Tech Institutes. Heart of Florida United Way’s Mission United, a program assisting with the reintegration of veterans and military families, is hosting “Mission Success,” an education fair focused on helping veterans advance their educations and careers. More than 20 local colleges, universities and technical institutes will be offering information regarding veteran enrollment, degrees/certifications and more. VA benefits staff will be there to address GI Bill and vocational rehabilitation questions. The event will also include a Veteran Panel discussing their educational choices and journey after a military career. Veterans of all ages and eras are welcome to attend this free event. Historical Crooms Academy Grand Reunion 2016,

in Sanford, Florida Save the date: December 27-29, 2016. Next meeting of the Crooms Academy Alumni Association Board Members will be held on December 17th 2016, 2:00 PM. Next meeting of the Historical Crooms Reunion Committee will be on January 14, 2016, 6:00 PM at the Dr. Velma Williams Community Resource Center 1303 Historical Goldsboro BLVD (Which is old: 1213 W. 13th St.) Sanford, FL 32771.
