The Pine Hills Community Performing Arts Center will present the 4th annual Best of the Best Talent Competition on Friday October 16th from 7-9p.m. at St Andrew Catholic Church on Hastings Street. The competition is open to all youth ages 7-19. There will be cash prizes awarded! Auditions for the competition will be held on Saturday September 5th at St Andrewís gym from 10a.m. - 1p.m. Saturday September 19th at the Wayne Densch YMCA on Hastings St. (across the street from St Andrew Church) from 10:a.m.-1p.m. Thursday September 24th at the Walt Disney World Boys and Girls Club at 5211 Hernandes Dr. from 5p.m.-7p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. the National Black MBA Association 37th Annual Conference Announcement in the Orlando City Hall Rotunda. Mayor Dyer will join with elected officials, business and community leaders and local chapter members of the National Black MBA Association to announce the National Black MBA Associationís 37th Annual Conference being held in the City of Orlando this September. This annual conference and exposition is one of the largest professional development and job recruitment events in the nation, expected to bring between 12,000-14,000 African American professionals and their families to Orlando.

The members of the Class of 1965 would welcome your attendance at our 50th Reunion during the Labor Day weekend, starting on Friday, September 4-7. If you like to join us, these are the fees for each event. Friday- September 4 (Crooms Academy of Information Technology Cafeteria) 6:00PM-10:00PM- $10. Saturday- September 5 (Boys and Girls Club, Persimmon Avenue) 7:00-Midnight- $35. Sunday- September 6 (House of Christ Ministries- Sanford Avenue) 11:00 AM Service Dinner - $10. Monday, September 7 (Labor Day- Lake Golden Park at Sanford Airport) 10:00 AM- 5:00 PM- $15 or $70 to attend all events. The class of 1965 will celebrate their 50th Reunion during the Labor Day weekend on September 4-7, here in Sanford.
