ORLANDO - When John Hairabedian became president of HGreg.com in 2014, he had two goals in mind: redefining the car buying experience, and solidifying the company’s reputation as an industry disruptor.

His father, Greg Hairabedian, opened the first public HGreg.com dealership in 1993. The young Hairabedian’s first job was to clean the snow off of cars on the lot, which taught him humility and gave him an appreciation for every position within the company.

With a passion for innovation and a background in technology, Hairabedian is bringing a new perspective and vision to the automotive industry.

“Traditionally, dealerships were corner lots with a very limited number of cars and an over aggressive salesperson,” said Hairabedian. “We’ve tried to break the mold and rally behind the consumer, giving them exactly what they want and deserve, and focusing on customer needs.”

HGreg.com is part of HGrégoire, a network of over 20 new and pre-owned car dealerships. The brand, which originated in Canada, has expanded into The United States.

Since opening their doors two decades ago, they’ve invested $100 million in their stores for their 500,000 customers. On average, they service 25,000 customers per year across North America.

In September HGreg.com opened the doors to its flagship new dealership in Orlando. Spread over 15.55 acres, including a 16,000 square foot office and large service and maintenance centers, the new location showcases more than 1,300 quality pre-owned vehicles.

“We love Florida. Orlando seemed like a Central point in Florida that fit our business model really well, it’s a very transient city,” he said. “With this location, and the team we’ve assembled, we feel we’re launching our brand in the region at the right place and at the right time.”

In Florida since 2010, they’ve become one of the top 10 independent dealers in the state. They also have dealerships in Doral and Westpark, as well as HGreg LUX, a luxury pre-owned dealership, in Pompano.

In addition, the company owns two warehouses and has announced plans to open a fifth location in North Miami.

One of the company’s 100,000 sq. ft. warehouses is located near the Doral dealership. It is home to more than 1,500 pre-owned vehicles and private tours are organized for interested consumers.

Once a vehicle has passed inspection, it is placed on the website, where it can be reserved on the spot and taken home on the same day. HGreg.com also offers a three days or 300 miles refund policy for those who are not completely satisfied with their purchase.
