ORLANDO - Knowing about your health means you could live longer and going to the doctor could help you become aware of a problem before itís too late. Sometimes you have to do the right thing for your own body. Such as getting the following checkups for your blood pressure, diabetes cholesterol, hearing and vision routinely. When I started the the Shake It Off Health Event, it was held at Walmart Grocery three years ago. The tour is just two years old. So for the record, next year we'll be celebrating not the third but the 4th annual Shake It Off Health tour. We have come a long way, but we still have a long way to go. The problem is not with the sponsors, vendors or volunteers because they're out there at the events ready to serve you with health care resources. I know that you have your health care plans in place, but it's for the people you may know that do not have a health plan. They need to come out to the health tour. Tell a friend to come and get the resources they need. It was so hot out that you could've cooked an egg on the sidewalk. I'm not going to lie to you. I was surprised that the vendors stayed out as long as they did out there in that sun. I was sick from the beginning, but I made it because of good friends that were there helping me through it all. God is good all of the time. I'd like to thank The New Christianaires for showing up and showing out for my God. Amen! Please keep in prayer Carlos Spencer, lead singer for 95 South. He was involved in a car accident. To all the vendors and supporters, Center for Change, Dr. Rosena Cambron-Chiropractor, WellCare Health Plan, American Senior Benefits, Central Florida Primacy Care, OneBlood, Simply Healthcare, YBA, CAREPLUS, Fire & Brimstone Radio Show, Sisters Network Inc., Central Florida Primary Care, Total Life Changes, Italian Ice & BBQ, CollocaMotion, Anthony Smith-Law, Star 94.5, Coalmind Technology Consulting, Kingdom Gospel Radio, Tupperware, Face Painting, Balloons, Silver Sneakers Trainer and City of Orlando Fire Department Florida Health, The Willie Clark Show, Everest Funeral Concierge, Front Porch, Orange County, Palmer Feed Store, Al's Food Store, The City of Orlando, Office Depot Office Max, Safe Link, Downtown Development, kids Entertainment, Styles By Son Jae, Ovachi Bennett and A&M Pawn, thanks for being about it not, just talking about it but, about our father's business. I want to keep it short but I can't! On the tour I am asking all vendors to bring healthy treats. I think I have enough beverages for the tour. We're just in need if healthy treats for our guests on the tour. The Shake It Off kickoff was a success. Thanks to everyone involved. Don't Meet Me There, Beat Me There! At the next Shake It Off Health tour kickoff celebration.
